Telehealth Therapy for Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont

Why Telehealth?
Vulnerability and growth from the comfort of home...
or anywhere!
If you had asked me what I thought about telehealth therapy in 2019, I would have dismissed the growing trend and insisted that "real relationships" require in-person connection. The pandemic changed my beliefs about the potential of telehealth. By necessity, I transitioned to seeing clients remotely, and I quickly discovered that we were both capable of building trust in this new context. My clients continued to grow and to heal, and some even noted that it felt easier to disclose and unpack painful thoughts and emotions when in a telehealth conversation.

There are limitations to telehealth. We cannot see each other's full body language. We cannot feel each other's emotional presence in quite the same way as when we are sitting in the same room.

For me at this stage of my career, the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. I am also a mother of two and a full-time school counselor. Working from home enables me to devote more time to what I care most about: providing therapy and caring for my children.

Just as important to me, telehealth provides you with maximal flexibility and access to mental health care. You can meet with me from anywhere in New Hampshire, Vermont, or Massachusetts and you are not absorbing any additional financial burden to offset brick-and-mortar business expenses.

My dog, Sneakers, may occasionally join a session. Let's be real:
practicing telehealth enables me to work in socks and sweatpants.
